Michael is a start-up founder and chief marketing officer. He monetizes innovation, creates market disruption and brand & product differentiation. A hands-on leader and business owner, Michael has a builder and fixer’s DNA and thrives on productivity. He leads from the front and has a track record of building highly productive goal oriented teams of winners.
Michael currently invests in and mentors start-ups and provides strategic, branding and go-to-market consulting services. He is developing NewOrleansAficionado.com, a guide to eats, drinks and music in the ‘City That Care Forgot.’
In 2009 he developed, funded and launched Open Circle, LLC, a Patent Pending online donor acquisition, sales and social retention marketing platform, which integrates the power of social community, digital marketing and financial services.
Prior to Open Circle, Michael spent 20 years in executive/officer leadership roles –P&L, integrated (digital & traditional) marketing & advertising, digital media and e-commerce. Organizations such as Yahoo!, Interpublic /TM Advertising, Warnaco, VF Corp and Haggar, have recruited Michael to deliver finance centric Marketing ROI.
A New Orleans native and aficionado, Michael lives in Dallas, TX. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management (MBA/Marketing), Tulane University’s College of Arts & Sciences (BA w/Honors) and Culver Military Academy.
