Mr. Eric Heinz is Founder & CEO and Managing Partner of Heinz Ventures, LLC, a life sciences venture studio.  Prior to Heinz Ventures, he most recently worked as Vice President, Market and Corporate Development for Titan Medical, a surgical robotics company based in Toronto.  Prior to Titan, he developed his 23-year career in the medtech industry across multiple companies and functional areas, including international product development at Medtronic Sofamor Danek, product management at Intuitive Surgical, marketing management at Zimmer and IMRIS and corporate development at Smith and Nephew.  He’s an inventor on over 19 issued patents and 42 patent applications.  Eric graduated with a BS in bioengineering from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a MEM from Christian Brothers University and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  Eric also completed the Biodesign Graduate Certificate at Stanford University.
